Quick & easy, easy, this black rice mixture is a stunning accompaniment to crabmeat or grilled pork. The Bashan's Ginger Dressing is a miso-based dressing we've sold and used for years. In addition to the miso, it contains tamari, vinegar, canola oil, sugar, and fresh ginger. We've never been able to satisfactorily duplicate it. We use it straight out of the bottle.

• 2 cups FORBIDDEN RICE
• 2/3 cup BASHAN'S GINGER DRESSING
• 1/2 cup raw sesame seeds

Cook black rice, according to package directions, until tender. Drain off any extra liquid and immediately toss with Bashan's dressing. Fold in sesame seeds and serve at room temperature.

Makes about 5 cups
